Kitchen & Laundry Technician
As a member of the Maintenance Department, he shall be responsible for repairing and maintenance tasks related to Kitchen and Laundry Equipment /assignment as assigned in the resort.
Requirements / Qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position in a five-star resort.
- Good knowledge and experience of commercial refrigeration and electrical equipment.
- Familiar with modern tools, equipment and machinery related to the scope of work.
- Able to communicate effectively in English with a positive can-do attitude.
- Flexible to respond to a range of different work situations.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
- Perform general repair and maintenance duties regarding laundry equipment, electrical systems, and kitchen equipment.
- Repairs and maintains washers, driers, extractors, condensers, pumps, blowers, presses, kitchen, and laundry equipment’s.
- Repairs or replaces parts, using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Replaces components, such as bearings, motors, and micro switches.
- Replaces faulty sections of pipe, valves, and fittings, using plumbing tools.
- Dismantles steam traps and removes sediment.
- Removes faceplate from equipment to clean out dust and lint.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various types of food service (kitchen & Laundry equipment) with including refrigeration systems and communicate the requirement.
- Perform basic maintenance and repair of laundry & kitchen equipment using manuals and their history.
