Job Role
- Work closely with business partners to understand requirements and propose effective and practical solutions.
- Elicit and document high-level and detailed requirements, including functional specifications, use cases, workflow diagrams, and maintain these throughout the project lifecycle.
- Engage with stakeholders across levels, demonstrating strong public relations (PR) and interpersonal skills to align on needs and expectations.
- Facilitate business process redesign, roadmap planning, gap analysis, and develop proofs of concept (PoC) where necessary.
- Design and document UI, functional and non-functional requirements, and system integration requirements.
- Participate in and facilitate review meetings, requirement walkthroughs, and coordinate across teams to manage QA and UAT testing.
- Very good working knowledge of API management and integration of 3rd party applications using API's (JSON & SOAP).
- Contribute to the implementation of core insurance systems, ensuring full alignment with business and technical requirements.
- Manage and track requirements, changes, and approvals throughout the project lifecycle to ensure traceability and compliance.
- Support product configuration, including forms and rules configuration, within enterprise platforms.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate translation of business requirements into technical specifications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Proactively identify and resolve customer satisfaction issues, ensuring a high-quality experience.
- Support project planning, estimation, and execution for solution delivery.
- Monitor progress and risks, ensuring that deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.
Job Pre-Requisites
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a Diploma/Higher Diploma in IT.
- MBA in IT or MSc in Computer Science would be an added advantage.
- Experience in the General Insurance domain is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills with a flair for out-of-the-box thinking.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Positive attitude and a can-do mindset.
- Strong team player with collaborative skills.
