Maintenance Technician
Core Responsibilities
- Perform regular inspections, servicing and preventive maintenance of production machines
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical or structural problems and repair them promptly.
- Continuously update the maintenance reports and documentation for audits or inspections.
- Respond immediately to machinery breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs and spare parts usage.
- Monitor and manage inventory of critical spare parts, tools and consumables.
- Ensure availability of essential parts to avoid production stoppage.
Candidate Profile
- A trade qualification (in mechanical, electrical, plumbing and general maintenance) or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in machine maintenance or a similar role.
- Knowledge of general building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Proven experience in reactive and preventative maintenance.
- Familiarity with workplace health and safety (WHS) standards and procedures.
- Valid driver’s license (if required for site work).
- Ability to use tools, equipment and maintenance software effectively.
- Preferably age below 35 years and living close to Hokandara will be added advantage.
