MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
We are seeking for a young engineering professional to embark on a journey with us as a Maintenance Technician attached to our manufacturing plant located in Ja Ela.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day maintenance operations including both mechanical and electrical repairs across the plant.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in strict compliance with occupational safety and health regulations.
- Provide support for breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and equipment servicing.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Accurately maintain maintenance logs, checklists, and relevant documentation.
Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses NVQ Level 3 or 4 qualification in Industrial Electrical, Electrical, Electronics or a recognized equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment with working knowledge of electrical systems, motors, wiring, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks involving lifting and manual labor.
- Awareness of industrial safety practices and standards.
- Basic IT literacy (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word) for record keeping and reporting.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts as per operational needs.
