Our State-of-the-art manufacturing facility is located at Export Processing Zone, Mirijjawila, Hambantota. The company is looking for team spirited, result oriented individuals with passion and dynamism for the following vacancy.
ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE– TAXATION
Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparing indirect and direct tax returns and schedules for timely review.
- Submission of tax returns and schedules on RAMIS on time.
- Submission of SVAT forms and schedules on RAMS.
- Ensure the timely payment of all taxes of the company and group.
- Manage closures of activities, entries and prepare tax related reconciliations.
- Handle and maintain tax documentation and supporting documents as per regulations.
- Liaise with the Department of Inland Revenue and address any tax related matters or compliance issues in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements
- Part qualification in CA / CIMA or any professional/academic qualification in taxation.
- Excellent knowledge and interest on the Tax Policy of Sri Lanka.
- Two years of hands-on experience working with RAMIS in relation to Corporate Income Tax, VAT, SVAT, WHT, PAYE and other taxes.
- Knowledge in transfer pricing regulations in Sri Lanka.
- Exposure in working in a SAP environment would be an added advantage.
