Manager – Ticketing and Outbound Operations

Karusan Travels Pvt Ltd, a well-established travel and tourism company with over 20 years of excellence in inbound, outbound, and ticketing services across Sri Lanka and the Maldives, is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as Manager – Ticketing and Outbound.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Surber and Galileo.
  • Build and sustain strategic relationships with airlines, travel partners, and clients.
  • Lead and manage the ticketing and outbound team, ensuring optimal performance and a collaborative work culture.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to drive outbound business growth.
  • Oversee travel documentation processes, including visa consultation, itinerary management, and post-sales services.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance of operational records and client files.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of hands-on experience in ticket issuing, cancellations, refunds, visa handling, and outbound travel operations.
  • IATA certification or equivalent recognized qualification is mandatory.
  • Strong working knowledge of GDS platforms, preferably Amadeus and Galileo.
  • In-depth knowledge of global travel destinations and outbound travel procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Prior experience in managing corporate travel accounts will be an added advantage.
  • Age below 45 years.
