Job Profile:

The Senior Manager – Procurement leads the procurement function, acting as the main liaison with the parent company and internal divisions. Responsible for managing a team of 10, the role oversees procurement planning, contract finalization, compliance, and alignment with business objectives. It also involves responding to Capex/Opex queries, driving category strategies, and collaborating with C-level executives to ensure strategic procurement delivery.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPM) is preferred.
  • Possessing a finance qualification from CIMA / ACCA or CA Sri Lanka will be an added advantage.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally within the telecommunications or technology sector.
  • Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, vendor management, and Capex/Opex procurement.
  • Proven experience engaging with C-level executives and multinational stakeholders.
  • Exceptional presentation and reporting skills, with the ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
