The Sri Lanka Logistics & Freight Forwarders Association (SLFFA), established in 1981, is the apex body representing the freight forwarding and logistics industry in Sri Lanka. SLFFA plays a pivotal role in promoting professionalism, industry standards, and policy advocacy, while fostering collaboration among stakeholders in the logistics and international trade sectors.
Position: Secretary General
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our leadership team in the capacity of Secretary General. This is a senior executive role that requires strategic vision, administrative expertise, and a deep understanding of the logistics and freight forwarding industry.
Key Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications:
- GCE A/Levels with a minimum of 3 passes.
- A bachelor's degree or Professional or academic qualification.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a managerial capacity, preferably in administration or any other area, is essential.
- Industry work experience in Freight forwarding, logistics or related will be a definite advantage.
- Excellent command of English (both written and spoken) is essential.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Other Requirements:
- Age 45 years and above.
- Ability to work independently and represent the Association at national and international forums.
- Location: Colombo Office.
- Salary: Negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
