Draftperson
AS A DRAFTSPERSON, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Creating accurate electrical drawings and schematics
- Collaborating with engineers to translate project requirements into technical drawings
- Ensuring that drawings comply with relevant standards and regulations
- Working closely with project managers and engineers to understand project specifications
- Revising drawings based on feedback from various stakeholders
- Coordinating with other departments to incorporate design changes
- Maintaining a comprehensive database of project drawings and revisions
- Generating bills of materials (BOMs) and other relevant documentation
- Conducting reviews of drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Implementing quality control processes to identify and rectify errors
- Collaborating with engineering teams to resolve design discrepancies
- Utilising computer-aided design (CAD, EPlan) software proficiently
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD:
- Hold a diploma or equivalent in electrical engineering, drafting, or a related field
- Possess at least two years of experience in the building services industry
- Be proficient in computer-aided design (CAD, EPlan) software
- Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting
