Tax Trainee
Kick-start your career in taxation with hands-on, experienced mentorship at a reputed Audit Firm in Sri Lanka.
Qualifications:
- Students currently following the Corporate Level at ICASL
- or
- Undergraduates in Accounting, Finance, or Management related
- Following tax-related professional exams at the Tax School at ICASL or the Chartered Institute of Taxation
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and filing Income Tax, VAT, SSCL, and WHT returns for individuals and companies
- Ensure timely submission of returns and compliance with IRD deadlines
- Organize and maintain tax files and supporting documents
- Collect and verify invoices, bank statements, and financial records for tax computation
- Support tax audit processes and respond to IRD queries
- Help calculate basic tax liabilities under supervision
- Liaise with clients to gather tax-related information
- Stay updated on Sri Lankan tax laws and attend internal training
- Assist senior staff with reporting, data entry, and general filing tasks
