Service Engineer
High-Tech & Mid-Range Instruments
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our dynamic technical team. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing application and technical support for a wide range of high-tech and mid-range scientific instruments. This role involves installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, customer training and ensuring excellent after-sales service.
What You’ll Do:
- Install, demonstrate and validate High-Tech and Medium-Tech scientific instruments at customer sites.
- Provide technical and application support, including method development and user assistance.
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs, calibrations (IQ, OQ, PQ) and preventive maintenance.
- Deliver training to customers and internal staff on equipment use, maintenance and software.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient after-sales support.
- Assist with AMC quotations, ISO documentation, shipment inspections and other departmental tasks.
- Foster strong customer relationships and gather feedback for continuous service improvement.
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Chemistry, Physical Science or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret technical data and application requirements.
- Excellent electronic diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in servicing high-tech or laboratory instruments (e.g., LCMS, GCMS, HPLC, FTIR, AAS, etc.) is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with calibration and validation procedures (IQ, OQ, PQ).
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel for on-site support, installations, and training sessions.
