The Stores Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse ensuring proper storage, inventory control and timely issuance of pharmaceutical products and materials. This role is critical in maintaining compliance with Good Storage Practices (GSP) and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the receipt, storage and dispatch of raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods.
- Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management systems.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs.
- Oversee the proper labeling, storage conditions and documentation of all inventory items. Coordinate with the Quality Assurance and Production teams to ensure timely supply of materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store to meet health and safety standards.
- Train and supervise store staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Generate periodic inventory reports and assist in internal/external audits.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with regulations and quality standards.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems is an advantage.
