ASSISTANT MANAGER - TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS - GALLE
JOB PROFILE
The selected candidate will be responsible for formulating policies, procedures and guidelines pertaining to maintenance, administration and manufacturing operations and driving the functions by complying with company standards. The candidate should manage the central workshop located in Nakiyadeniya and also maintenance activities of Cinnamon Peeling Centre located in Homadola. He / She should ensure that the buildings, machineries and vehicles are well maintained and safety measures are implemented within the region.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- A Degree in Business Administration/Engineering/Auto mobile engineering or equivalent field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Sound knowledge of industry specific factory equipment, heavy vehicle, farm vehicle, production, inventory management and quality control
- Previous experience in Fleet Management and knowledge in scheduling repairs and maintenance
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Excellent Team Management Skills
- Good planning and organizing skills
