As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and passionate Head of Cuisine to lead our kitchen and bring our culinary vision to life.
Position Summary
As the Head of Cuisine, you will be the creative and operational leader of our kitchen, responsible for leading the kitchen team during service, developing an authentic Italian menu, managing kitchen staff, maintaining high culinary standards, and ensuring an outstanding dining experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and inspire the kitchen team in day-to-day operations.
- Develop and execute a seasonal, innovative, and authentic Italian menu.
- Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to maintain smooth service flow.
- Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff.
- Enforce health, hygiene, and safety regulations in compliance with local standards.
- Maintain supplier relationships and ensure the quality of ingredients.
- Monitor kitchen performance, including cost control, waste reduction, and staff efficiency.
- Stay updated on culinary trends, especially within Italian cuisine.
Qualifications & Experience
- Good level of English.
- Proven experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or Senior Sous Chef in an Italian restaurant.
- Culinary degree or relevant professional training is preferred.
- Deep knowledge of traditional and modern Italian cuisine.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen.
- Commitment to quality, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
