Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer – Procurement & Projects to join our growing team. This role involves managing procurement activities related to engineering from abroad and mechanical projects, overseeing project execution, supplier coordination, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in mechanical engineering, strong procurement skills, and the ability to manage multiple technical projects efficiently.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, components, and project execution processes.
- Procurement Skills: Experience in sourcing, negotiating with vendors, and managing supply chains.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of ERP systems is an added advantage.
- Tech Awareness: Familiarity with AI technologies and how they can support procurement or project efficiency is a plus.
