EXECUTIVE OR SENIOR EXECUTIVE - MATERIAL QUALITY ASSURANCE
BASED AT MINUWANGODA
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Fabric/Trim inspections and communicate raw material non-conformities with suppliers to initiate corrective/preventive actions and replacements/claims.
- Review Fabric Inspection/Testing reports/Color reports and confirm the dispatch readiness.
- Handle all bulk issues at the cutting room and sewing plant ensuring timely solutions for smooth production by minimizing the impact.
- Analyze supplier performance and initiate necessary actions/projects to continuously drive and improve material quality by giving on time and adequate feedback on regular basis.
- Give leadership to the MQA department (Fabric / Trim inspection, Color management and Testing Lab).
- Identify areas for coaching, training and industrial exposure required to develop the talent and drive for excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in Fabric Inspection/Lab/Color functions.
- Diploma or Degree in Textile and Clothing Technology.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain positive relationships with the internal and external stakeholders.
