EXECUTIVE - INTERNAL AUDIT
WE ARE SEEKING A DYNAMIC AND EXPERIENCED EXECUTIVE - INTERNAL AUDIT TO JOIN OUR TEAM. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL PLAY A CRITICAL ROLE IN EVALUATING AND ENHANCING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF RISK MANAGEMENT, CONTROL, AND GOVERNANCE PROCESSES ACROSS OUR BRANCH NETWORK.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough internal audits across all departments, with a focus on underwriting, claims, and financial controls.
- Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management frameworks and internal control systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify gaps and develop corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards, including internal policies and external legal requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of risk-based audit plans and strategies.
- Provide continuous monitoring of operational and financial processes, ensuring accountability and transparency.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes relevant to the insurance sector.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in internal audit, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, services, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in audit management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
