GIS ACCOUNT MANAGER / SALES MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take full ownership of assigned sales targets and drive consistent achievement
  • Identify and pursue market opportunities through proactive client visits, organizing technical demonstrations in coordination with the presales team, and leading sales and marketing initiatives
  • Develop and implement long-term strategies for the use of GIS technology, including setting goals and objectives aligned with organizational vision
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring effective collaboration with internal departments
  • Manage a structured sales funnel with clear activity planning and timely execution
  • Prepare and manage all necessary sales documentation, including quotations, proposals, and tender documents

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the IT field and customer management
  • Strong skills in documentation related to tenders, proposals, and written communication
  • A Degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing or A Degree or Diploma in GIS, IT, or any other relevant field that includes GIS as a course module
  • Effective communication skills in both English and Sinhala
  • Proven documentation skills in preparing proposals and tenders
  • Skills in sales and marketing
  • Background knowledge in GIS and IT
