Maintenance Executive
“We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Engineer in the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of the facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure a safe, well-maintained, and comfortable environment for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for all hotel facilities including guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house, and outdoor spaces and ensure they are carried out in a successful and timely manner.
- Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, and other systems.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns, service requests, and emergency repairs to minimize operational disruptions.
- Diagnose faults, troubleshoot problems, and perform repairs or escalate to external specialists when required.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and equipment histories.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Support the Engineering or Maintenance Manager in planning and implementing maintenance schedules, refurbishment projects, and facility upgrades.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and workshop areas are maintained in good condition.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role in a hotel or commercial property.
- Strong technical knowledge in one or more disciplines: electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, or general maintenance.
- Working knowledge of health and safety regulations and fire safety systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and equipment specifications.
- Problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and attend to emergencies as required.
