PRODUCTION MANAGER
to Lead Operational Excellence @ Multilac Paints
Are you a strategic production leader ready to oversee full-scale paint manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement at Sri Lanka’s leading eco-friendly paint producer?
Your Mission:
- Take ownership of daily factory operations—planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and process control.
- Drive lean manufacturing initiatives (5S, Kaizen) to boost efficiency and minimize waste.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards (ISO, SLS, eco-friendly compliance).
- Lead, mentor, and develop the production team to achieve performance targets.
- Collaborate with R&D and QC to maintain consistent batch quality and introduce new products.
- Monitor KPIs like yield, downtime, and cost-efficiency; present insights to senior management.
What You Bring:
- Degree or diploma in Industrial Management, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years in manufacturing, including at least 3 years in paint/coating industry.
- Sound knowledge of paint production processes, pigments, resins and formulation techniques.
- Proven track record in lean production, team management, and quality systems.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and collaboration skills.

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
to manage day-to-day production activities within our state-of-the-art paint facility.
Your Mission:
- Supervise and coordinate daily production tasks on the manufacturing floor.
- Ensure production targets and quality standards are met per daily plan.
- Monitor raw-material usage; minimize waste and manage resource efficiency.
- Enforce safety protocols and housekeeping in line with regulatory requirements.
- Assist maintenance teams with troubleshooting and repairs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of batch records, downtime, and quality checks.
- Foster a disciplined and team-oriented work environment.
- Coordinate workflow between QC, warehouse, and production departments.
- Provide feedback and reports on production progress, issues, and improvements.
What you bring:
- Diploma or NVQ in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years in supervisory roles in paint or chemical manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of paint production, mixing techniques, and material handling.
- Familiarity with ISO procedures and basic maintenance practices.
