in the construction industry, Senarath Group is a well-established, CIDA (ICTAD) accredited "C-1 Grade" construction company. We pride ourselves on our excellence and diversified business ventures, operating across seven (07) subsidiary companies.
We are looking for qualified, dynamic, and self-motivated individuals to join our growing team in the following positions.
MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in cement, concrete, or block-making plants.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gearboxes, and PLC-based systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals, machine drawings, and wiring diagrams.
- Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of safety practices and preventive maintenance tools.
- Strong communication and team coordination skills.
- Age below 35.
TRAINEE MECHANICAL ENGINEER
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems in construction.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar design tools is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Willingness to work on construction sites and adapt to field conditions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn construction project workflows and MEP coordination.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER
- Professional Qualification in occupational Health & Safety such as NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a construction, manufacturing or industrial safety.
- Strong Knowledge of Sri Lankan safety law & practices.
- Familiarity with OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14000, ISO 9001 or relevant regional standards.
- Ability to travel to project & factory sites across the Island.
- Excellent communication & reporting skills.
- Conduct safety inspections & risk assessments at various project locations.
- Implement & monitor HSE standards across construction, manufacturing & transport sites.
- Age below 45.
