Diagnostic Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose & repair electrical/mechanical issues in electric vehicles (EVs).
- Work with Service Advisors/Engineers to identify problems using advanced scanning tools.
- Troubleshoot high-voltage battery systems, power electronics, & charging components.
- Perform repairs within set timeframes & follow safety procedures.
- Use diagnostic tools & update firmware.
- Interpret technical manuals for trouble rectification. Ensure all repairs meet company guidelines & productivity standards.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Bachelor degree in automotive, NVQ L4 or equivalent.
- Minimum two years experience in industry working as a technician / diagnostic technician.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in EV related vehicles will be an added advantage.
