Tendering Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Tendering Executive with experience in Tender Operations for our Colombo office, located at 410/3 Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 07, to lead our business development efforts.

Job Description:

As a Tendering Executive, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end tendering process, from analyzing tender documents to preparing and submitting competitive bids. You will work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with tender requirements and develop strategies to secure new contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze tender documents and identify key requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to gather necessary information for tender submissions.
  • Develop comprehensive and compliant tender documents.
  • Submit tenders on time and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with tenders.
  • Conduct post-tender evaluations and report on outcomes.
  • Research market trends and identify new tender opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, IT or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a tendering, bid management, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the tendering process and procurement practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Sales Executive

The company seeks a proactive Sales Executive to manage tender-based client relationships and drive procurement sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Manage tender operations, including preparation, submission, and follow-up.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including public and private enterprises.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of goods, equipment, machinery, and services.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead in the market.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Higher Diploma in a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or tender operations.
  • Knowledge of technical equipment and machinery is considered an added advantage.
  • Proven track record of success in driving business growth and managing tender operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
