We are a well-established decorative paints manufacturing and distribution company with a reputation for service excellence and quality products including leading brands such as SF Skim Coat, SF Aqua Guard etc. We are looking for a dynamic, result-oriented individual with experience to fill the following position.
EXECUTIVE RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT (MALE)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop the formulas of water-based paints, wood coatings & dry mix coating products
- Work closely with sales & marketing team to develop the coating products to meet the customer’s / market requirements
- Maintain compliance with local, International & organizational laws, regulations, guidelines and policies
- Source alternative raw materials to reduce the cost of products
- Lead the R & D team and formulate recipes as per the requirement
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Below 40 years of age
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (including Chemistry) / Polymer Science or relevant professional qualification from a recognized university / institute
- Minimum 4-5 year’s experience in similar capacity
- Experience in Paints / Coating products manufacturing industry would be an added advantage
- Knowledge and experience in ISO & other related quality certifications
- Ability to communicate fluency in Sinhala and English
- Ability to work long hours
- Be a team player who is willing to travel
