JUNIOR ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities
- Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and journals.
- Process daily transactions, invoices, receipts, Petty Cash and payments.
- Perform bank reconciliations and Fixed assist Maintenance.
- Prepare financial statements and assist with external audits.
- Handle petty cash, employee reimbursements, and related documentation.
- Enter and verify transactions in the accounting software system.
- Preparing VAT documents.
- Maintain organised financial documentation and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Follow up debtors.
Requirements
- Age between 25-30 (Female)
- AAT qualification or part-qualified
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Busy, Quick Books of similar systems).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.).
- Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and team player.
- Prefer candidate in wattala area.
