MANAGER - PROCUREMENT AND PURCHASING
JOB PROFILE
The selected candidate will have to work both in Colombo and Udugama (Galle) and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of purchasing and procurement activities of Watawala Plantations PLC and Lonach Dairy Ltd. The candidate should be responsible to attract competent suppliers and maintain proper portfolio who can supply quality products and services. Also, He / She should ensure that the company purchase products and services on time for reasonable prices following accepted policies and procedures.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Degree related to Supply chain & Logistics/ Business and Operations Management
- Minimum 5 years' experience in purchasing / procurement
- Effective communication and negotiation / Contract skills
- Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills
- Good planning and organizing skills
- Excellent forecasting skills
- Agriculture business knowledge will be an added advantage
