Polymer Plate Making Operator
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain flexo plate making equipment (exposure, washout, drying, and finishing units)
- Prepare digital files for plate imaging using Esko or equivalent software
- Ensure correct imaging and processing of photopolymer plates
- Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot any plate-related issues
- Coordinate with design and production teams to meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in flexographic / Offset plate making
- Knowledge of Esko software and digital plate imaging systems would be an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Operator Assistant
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the main operator in all stages of flexo plate making (imaging, exposure, washout, drying, finishing)
- Prepare materials and tools required for plate production
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment
- Follow safety and quality procedures at all times
- Support documentation and basic data entry related to plate making
Qualifications
- School leavers or technical diploma holders encouraged to apply
- Basic understanding of printing or graphic processes is an advantage
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Physically fit and able to handle materials and equipment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
