Accountant / Accounts Executive / Accounts Assistant
Jaindi Export (Pvt) Ltd is a well reputed, large scale coconut kernel based food and beverages manufacturers and exporters incorporated in 2003 at Mawathagama, Dankotuwa. Due to rapid growth and expansion of the Company, we are seeking an energetic professional to join our company.
Responsibility:
- Handle daily accounting transactions, including invoicing, payments, receipts, and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely data entry in the accounting system.
- Process supplier invoices, verify payment requests, and coordinate with vendors.
- Prepare and file tax returns, VAT, and other statutory payments as per regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Support the finance team in budgeting, cost control, and audit-related activities.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and reporting requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles (fresh graduates with strong academic performance may also be considered).
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Knowledge of taxation and statutory requirements is an added advantage.
- Preferred candidates who are living close by Negambo/Pannala/Dankotuwa area.
