Card Centre

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled professional to join our Card Centre as a System Support Executive – Card Projects and Developments. This role will be the a single point of contact for all matters related to our Credit Card Systems.

Job Profile:

  • Serve as the primary contact for all matters related to Credit Card Systems, engaging with system vendors and payment schemes
  • Attend all User Acceptance Tests (UATs), system migrations, and implementations
  • Configure and administer card system parameters and products
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve system-related issues
  • Participate in all local and international compliance and regulatory implementations concerning card systems
  • Manage projects related to the personalization of credit and debit cards
  • Coordinate and implement mandates from the VISA and MasterCard schemes
  • Engage in tasks related to the development of new card propositions
  • Address inquiries from branches and customers regarding card system issues
  • Prepare and distribute management information (MIS) related to the cards business

Candidate Prerequisites:

  • A part qualification in Banking from IBSL or a related IT qualification from a recognized institution
  • A minimum of 4 - 5 years of work experience in the banking industry, with a minimum of 3 years specifically focused on handling card operations and product domains
  • Relevant technical skills to troubleshoot system issues in collaboration with vendors
  • Strong knowledge of Credit Card Systems and Payment Scheme Mandates
  • Good understanding of Credit Card Operations and Card System behavior
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills combined with project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Computer literacy with advanced knowledge of hardware and software
  • Expertise in MS Word and Excel
