Job Profile

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Modern Trade Executive to manage and grow the business within the modern trade channel.

  • Liaise with modern trade channels for listing of Morison’s product portfolio.
  • Achieve sales targets by driving revenue growth across the modern trade channel.
  • Oversee the full sales cycle including order placement, follow-ups, and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Plan and manage trade marketing budgets for promotions and in-store activations.
  • Validate, process, and manage trade claims, discounts, and incentive payouts in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with finance and supply chain teams to ensure accurate forecasting and stock availability.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key accounts including supermarkets and hypermarkets.
  • Ensure accurate billing, on-time delivery, and prompt resolution of customer issues.
  • Collaborate with buyers on joint business planning, promotional activities, and shelf management.
  • Ensure planogram compliance, brand visibility, and in-store merchandising standards.
  • Coordinate and execute in-store promotions aligned with brand strategy and campaign timelines.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal availability at outlets.
  • Conduct regular store visits to assess product availability, pricing, visibility, and competitor activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, retail contracts, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure smooth execution of plans.

Applicant Profile

  • Degree in Marketing or Business Management or CIM/SLIM qualifications (fully or partly completed) from a reputed university/institute.
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential.
