Electrician
Responsibilities:
- Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical control, wiring and lighting systems.
- Performing general electrical maintenance.
- Install electrical apparatuses, fixtures and equipment for alarms and other systems.
- Install safety and distribution components such as switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels.
- Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components.
- Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring.
- Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring, insulated cables, cleaning circuits and more.
- Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.
Qualifications:
- Work experience as an Electrician.
- Expertise in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
- Demonstrable the ability to use electrical and hand tools.
- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures, legal regulations and guidelines.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Diploma in relevant vocational training or successful completion of an apprenticeship as an electrician.
