Senior Executive-Technical (Based at Kelaniya)
Responsibilities
- Ensure product specifications are met by controlling key parameters in the mixing process.
- Conduct lab trials for process improvements, new compounds, material testing, and supplier development; support validation and feasibility studies.
- Drive continuous improvement in line with ISO and IATF 16949 standards.
- Analyze testing and mixing data to identify issues and take corrective actions.
- Use Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor and improve processes.
- Prepare and display relevant SOPs, process standards, and specifications according to process requirements.
- Follow and promote workplace safety practices.
Requirements
Education:
- Degree/Diploma in Material/Polymer Science or equivalent qualification.
Experience:
- Minimum 02 years’ experience in a similar capacity (Experience in Tyre Industry would be an added advantage).
Skills:
- Computer literacy in MS Office is essential.
- Working knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage
- Exceptional communication skills
Other:
- Sound knowledge in ISO 9001: 2015, 5S, Kaizen & Total Quality Management
- Ability to multitask as required
- Availability to work on roster basis
