This is not a traditional recruitment role. This is an opportunity to build, scale, and dominate a national locum business unit, with full accountability for revenue, operations, and market growth.

About The Role

As the Division Manager – Locum Operations, you will lead and scale our Medical & healthcare locum division across Australia. You will be responsible for building a high-performance team, expanding our active Job Seekers network, securing key client relationships, and delivering consistent revenue growth.

You will operate as the P&L owner of the division, driving both strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a national Medical & healthcare locum division with clear revenue targets
  • Build and manage a high-performing team across candidate management, client acquisition, compliance, and operations
  • Develop and maintain a live network of active Medical & healthcare locum with real-time availability
  • Secure and manage relationships with: corporate clinic groups, rural and regional healthcare providers, government and healthcare organisations
  • Ensure rapid response and execution: Job to submission within 30 minutes; high booking conversion rates
  • Oversee compliance processes in line with AHPRA requirements
  • Implement systems, reporting dashboards, and performance tracking frameworks
  • Deliver consistent monthly revenue growth and forecast accuracy

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a commercially driven leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-performance environments.

Essential

  • Must have worked for UK, or Australia, or New Zealand or USA Market
  • Must be excellent in all form of business English since servicing to Australian Market.
  • 5+ years’ experience in healthcare recruitment, with strong exposure to locum or temporary staffing
  • Proven track record of revenue generation and team leadership
  • Experience managing or scaling a temp/locum desk
  • Strong understanding of the Australian healthcare recruitment market

Highly Desirable

  • Experience in healthcare recruitment
  • Existing network of Medical & healthcare locum or healthcare clients
  • Ability to build both supply (candidates) and demand (clients) simultaneously
