Supply & Distribution Manager/ Assistant Manager (Retail Fuel Industry)

We are seeking a dynamic leader to manage the end-to-end procurement, storage, and distribution of fuel products, ensuring timely delivery to the right locations in optimal quantities. This role oversees the complete fuel supply chain while upholding global safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end fuel supply chain operations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while guiding the supply chain team.
  • Monitor and optimize fuel inventory, storage arrangements, discharge planning, and shipment processing.
  • Maintain strong relationships with dealers and transport partners, ensuring reliable supply and timely payments and proactively resolve operational challenges and adapt to market or network changes.
  • Manage fuel distribution, ensuring cost-efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Service emphasis on order planning, robust credit management and control mechanisms, efficient cash collection processes, and the accurate placement of delivery orders through the SAP system.
  • Liaise with CPTSL, banks and IT service providers to ensure operational efficiency, while managing accurate data input within the SAP system and maintaining comprehensive audit trails.
  • Conduct site visits to verify fuel quality, resolve deviations, and address customer complaints and ensure all operations adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards; coordinate audits with HSEQ teams.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Management or any related field and qualification in imports & exports procedures in SL will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 05 years of experience in supply chain or logistics management, preferably in the oil & gas industry with a strong background in inventory control, demand forecasting, and supplier/vendor management. At least 02 years working experience in SAP System will be an added advantage.
  • Skillset in supply chain and logistics principles, customer & conflict management, negotiation and business continuity management.
  • English proficiency is mandatory.
