Asst. Quality Controller
Ready-mix Concrete (RMC) Operations – Trincomalee

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Asst. Quality Controller to join our Ready-Mix Concrete team in Trincomalee.
Job Role
The selected candidate will support the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of quality control systems within Ready-Mix Concrete operations. This role is responsible for ensuring that concrete production consistently complies with approved mix designs, relevant standards, and company quality requirements, while contributing to process efficiency and product reliability.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- B.Sc. degree in Physical/Material Science with Chemistry as a subject from a recognized university.
- Previous experience in QA/QC-related work will be an added advantage.
- Good command of English and computer literacy is mandatory.
- Strong time management skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Effective communication skills with excellent interpersonal and people management abilities.
- Candidates residing in close proximity to Trincomalee are highly encouraged to apply.
- Age should be below 35 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine quality tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
- Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and calibration records.
- Record and analyze test results to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Assist in preparing quality reports and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Identify and report any quality deviations or non-conformances promptly.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of QA/QC procedures.
- Coordinate with production and site teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Adhere to safety and environmental regulations in the lab and plant areas.
