Production Supervisor
Location: Hingurana - Ampara
The Role
- Supervise day-to-day production activities to ensure targets, quality standards, and operational schedules are achieved.
- Monitor production processes, material usage, and equipment performance to maintain efficient operations.
- Lead and coordinate production staff while ensuring discipline, productivity, and teamwork.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, quality, and operational procedures within the production facility.
- Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and inventory-related documentation.
- Coordinate with maintenance, stores, and quality assurance teams to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
The Profile
- Passed GCE A/L; Diploma or qualification in Production, Manufacturing, Food Technology, Industrial Management, or related field will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 2–4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or process-driven production environment. (Bottling industry experience will be an added advantage.)
- Strong understanding of production operations, quality control, and workplace safety standards.
- Ability to supervise shift-based operations and manage production teams effectively.
- Leadership, communication, & problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to prepare production and operational reports accurately.
