Assistant Pharmacist
(Colombo - Full-Time)
We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Assistant Pharmacist to support the pharmacy operations and ensure the safe and accurate dispensing of medications. The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in dispensing medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and company guidelines
- Handle prescriptions in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide product information to customers, including usage, dosage, and storage instructions
- Deliver excellent customer service and respond to patient inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of medications and inventory
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment
- Collaborate with doctors, optometrists, and other staff to ensure accurate dispensing and smooth workflow
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3/4 or equivalent qualification in Pharmacy
- Minimum 1 year experience in a pharmacy setting
- Good knowledge of pharmaceutical products and dispensing practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer literacy
