Access Engineering PLC, the leading value engineering solutions provider in Sri Lanka is pleased to invite applicants for the following positions (site based) for the Central Expressway Project III – Phase 2.
Construction Engineer - Highway
- BSc in Civil Engineering / Highway Engineering / Construction Engineering from a recognized university
- Registered with ECLS and hold membership/registration with IESL/IIESL, with a valid registration number to be produced at interview.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Highway and Major Roads sector
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all highway construction activities, ensuring technically sound execution of works.
- Planning/ scheduling of resources
- Direct and guide site teams to deliver earthworks, pavements, drainage & structures to the required standards.
- Prepare construction budgets, monitor cost and productivity, and control resources using Earned Value Management techniques.
- Plan and supervise construction operations to meet programme, quality, and safety
- Monitor progress, analyze variances on cost and schedule, and submit performance and progress reports to management.
The ideal Candidate should be a team player, have positive Interpersonal and Communication skills with the willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
Familiarity with modern technological advancements will be an added advantage.
