Technical Sales & Compliance Coordinator (Chemical Industry)
Location: Jean Wan Office, Rajagiriya, Sri Lanka
Employment Type: Full Time
Reports To: Marketing Director (Technical & Strategic Support) BSI Group
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate technical sales and customer inquiries for chemical products in the Sri Lankan market.
- Work closely with clients to understand requirements and provide suitable chemical solutions.
- Prepare quotations, sales documents, SDS/TDS and other technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with GHS, REACH, IMDG/IATA and other applicable regulations.
- Liaise with suppliers, logistics partners and internal teams for smooth order processing and delivery.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to support business growth.
- Maintain accurate records in ERP/CRM systems.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Business Studies or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in chemical sales, technical support or compliance.
- Good knowledge of chemical regulations (GHS, REACH, IMDG/IATA).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Willing to work in Sri Lanka.
