QUALITY ASSURANCE EXECUTIVE
STASSEN EXPORTS (PVT) LTD, one of Sri Lanka’s largest Manufacturers and Exporters of Tea, is looking for a dynamic and competent individual, to fill the position of Quality Assurance Executive for their Tea Packaging/ Bulk Unit, which is certified for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000 – 2018, BRC, IFS, RA, HALAL & all Organic Certificates.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The functions of a Quality Assurance Executive include taking quality assurance measures and maintaining inspection systems which provide for the timely detection, solution and elimination of quality deviation problems. The job also calls for communicating clearly and effectively with other departments on quality issues, packaging etc. Essential capabilities include self-motivation, hard-work, willingness to be a team player with strong communicating skills.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- A Degree in Food Science and Technology, Biology or similar sciences.
- At least 05 years hands on experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in Tea Exports or Food Processing Industry. Holder of a Diploma in Quality Assurance from the SLSI and knowledge of International Quality and Food Safety Standards would be a distinct advantage along with Country Specific requirements.
- Ability to conduct periodical quality Audits and related activities to maintain the required standards and records is a must.
- Commitment to work in a challenging and ever-changing environment is a must.
- Computer Literacy and communication in English is essential.
