SUMMARY
n
The Sponsorship assistant provides a vital link between the field office and National Office that provide the field with child sponsors and other resources. The person monitors and maintains communication flow between children and their sponsors. The person is responsible for data management of beneficiaries and ensuring the data is up-to-date. The Sponsorship Assistant will be a key person in resolving questions, smoothing out logistics, and building relationships among the district office and county office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
n
Under the direct supervision of the field Operations Manager the core functions of the Sponsorship assistant will include the following:
n
n- Support, coordination and oversight of the child sponsorship operations in the Elpitiya district.
n- Collects the enrollment information of those individuals being sponsored (i.e. case histories, photos, etc.) meets deadlines provided and follows sponsorship guidelines and policies.
n- Manage correspondence flow between sponsors/those sponsored (deliver and collect correspondences and other pieces of communication) in the community in a timely manner. Ensures that all correspondence follows KFHI’s Child Protection Policy.
n- To respond to the Donor request within required days of the receipt of the request. The information provided should be adequate / appropriate and accurate. All child sponsorship related activities are completed efficiently through good support & supervision.
n- Strengthen networking between project partners and stakeholders.
n- Establish and maintain a comprehensive database of sponsorship leads, contacts, and agreements.
n- Ensure to meet partnership dead-lines (Ex. CHS, APR, Letters, Sponsor Visits + Budgetary requirements etc.)
n- Through regular visits and other avenues of communication (Skype, email, telephone), ensure sound communication with National office Sponsorship department.
n- Ensures Sponsorship reporting requirements and data management procedures and that the systems and processes are in place to meet the required standards.
n- Make sure to develop and maintain a suitable system for documenting on activities carried out in the project.
n- Ensure that the selection of beneficiaries for programs is carried out without any bias and partiality

QUALIFICATIONS
n
n- Successfully completed G.C.E. Advanced Level examination in all subjects.
n- Minimum of two years’ experience in sponsorship acquisition and management will be an added advantage.
n- Proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point.
n- Strong communication skills in Sinhala and English languages.
n- Sound Personality and Passionate about helping the most vulnerable
n- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n- Ability to work and guide leader mothers in sponsorship requirements.
n- Strong organizational and time management skills.
