EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER
Rajarata Hotel is a well-established, star-class property located in the historic city of Anuradhapura. LOCATION : ANURADHAPURA
The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and strategic direction of the Housekeeping Department. This role ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across all guest rooms and public areas, while delivering exceptional guest satisfaction. The position requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to drive team performance in line with the hotel's standards and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the entire Housekeeping Department, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations.
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and quality standards in line with hotel expectations.
- Oversee and ensure all guest rooms are maintained to the highest standards and are ready for arrival.
- Ensure all public areas and back-of-house spaces are consistently clean, well-maintained, and hazard-free.
- Supervise, train, and develop housekeeping staff, including supervisors and executives.
- Prepare and manage staff schedules, duty rosters, and departmental manpower planning.
- Monitor departmental performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Coordinate closely with other departments Front Office, Maintenance, F&B to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution.
Candidate Profile :
- Candidates below 45 years of age are preferred
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or leadership role within a reputed hotel preferably 4-star/5-star
- Strong command of English spoken and written
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
- In-depth knowledge of housekeeping operations, systems, and international standards
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem solving skills
