We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate QA Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in software testing, a passion for quality assurance, and an interest in modern QA practices including AI-assisted test automation and API testing.
ASSOCIATE QA ENGINEER
Location : Hybrid | Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality and reliability
- Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing
- Work with BrowserStack and cross-browser/device testing tools to validate application compatibility
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and project managers throughout the development lifecycle
- Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and QA test planning activities
- Contribute to QA automation initiatives using modern AI-assisted testing tools and frameworks
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases in Agile/Scrum environments
- Prepare clear and detailed test cases, test reports, and defect documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Hands-on experience with manual testing and QA methodologies
- Experience in API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar
- Familiarity with BrowserStack or similar cross-browser testing platforms
- Exposure to QA test automation and modern AI-assisted testing approaches
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and ceremonies
- Experience with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting concepts is an advantage
- ISTQB certification would be a plus
