JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Italian Speaking Guest Relation Officer to join our team at Diamonds Athuruga. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and fluent in both Italian and English. This role is pivotal in ensuring our Italian-speaking guests feel welcomed, understood, and cared for throughout their stay.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Italian-speaking guests and other guests, ensuring clear communication and personalized service
- Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with check-in and Resort orientation
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback and complaints with professionalism and efficiency
- Collaborate with front office, housekeeping and other departments to meet guest expectations
- Coordinate and promote resort activities, excursions and special events
- Translate key guest information and communication materials between Italian and English
- Maintain accurate records of guest preferences and feedback for continuous improvement
- Prior experience in hospitality and fluency in Italian and English are mandatory; knowledge of Italian is an advantage
- Prior experience working in Maldives resorts is an advantage
