We are seeking a customer-focused and energetic Customer Experience Specialist to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling customer inquiries through multiple communication channels, providing accurate and timely solutions, maintaining customer records, and ensuring a smooth and professional customer experience.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

  • Handle customer inquiries received through calls, emails, WhatsApp, Messenger, and other digital communication channels in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide accurate information and appropriate solutions to customer queries while ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Record, update, and maintain customer interactions, inquiries, complaints, and resolutions accurately in the system.
  • Escalate unresolved or complex customer matters to the relevant department or supervisor and follow up until closure.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support smooth service delivery and effective issue resolution.
  • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a courteous approach when handling customer information and concerns.
  • Support the achievement of service quality standards, response times, and customer satisfaction targets.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Successfully completed GCE Advanced Level or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong communication skills in Sinhala and English, with the ability to handle customer inquiries clearly and professionally; Tamil language proficiency will be an added advantage.
  • Good computer literacy with the ability to work with customer service systems, databases, and MS Office applications.
  • A positive customer service mindset with good listening skills, patience, and the ability to handle customers in a professional manner.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple customer inquiries efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work on a roster basis, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Prior experience in call centre, customer service, CRM, hospitality, or front-office operations will be an added advantage; school leavers are also encouraged to apply.
