About Us
Asian Travel Solutions is a Colombo-based destination management company specialising in tailor-made inbound travel across Sri Lanka, India, and the Maldives. We are a close-knit, hands-on team. Every itinerary we build is designed from scratch, every property we recommend has been personally visited, and every client has a real person they can reach at any point in their journey. We are growing, and we are looking for the right person to grow with us.
The Role
This is a senior, client-facing operations role at the centre of how we deliver travel. You will handle the full journey of a booking, from itinerary design and costing through to supplier coordination, on-tour support, and client communication across both B2B and B2C channels. Key Responsibilities
- Design customised itineraries based on client briefs, travel style, and budget
- Calculate accurate tour costs and prepare client-ready proposals
- Liaise with hotels, drivers, guides, and experience providers to confirm bookings and manage logistics
- Respond to client enquiries and emails across both B2B (travel agents and trade partners) and B2C (direct travellers) channels
- Serve as the designated on-tour contact person for live tours on a rostered basis, providing real-time support to guests and suppliers
- Conduct occasional meet-and-greets with arriving clients at the airport or hotel
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, communications, and supplier confirmations
What We Are Looking For
Essential
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role within the travel or hospitality industry
- Strong written and spoken English with confident client communication skills
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook
- Proven ability to manage multiple bookings and suppliers simultaneously without losing accuracy
- A calm, professional approach to client-facing situations, whether in person or in writing
Added Advantages
- Experience with Canva for basic design and presentation tasks
- Familiarity with AI tools and how to use them efficiently in a work context
- Proficiency in one or more additional languages beyond English particularly relevant for markets we serve Hindi, Tamil, French, German, Mandarin
