Electrical Engineer
Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC, Sri Lanka’s leading manufacturer of premium porcelain tableware, is seeking a proactive Electrical Engineer to manage electrical maintenance operations ensuring smooth plant operations, minimize machine downtime, and support continuous improvement of production efficiency and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of electrical systems and machinery.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical faults to minimize downtime.
- Support production by maintaining equipment efficiency and continuous power supply.
- Implement improvements to enhance machine reliability and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and energy-saving initiatives.
- Engage in installation of new machinery and equipment.
- Support production and maintenance departments to maintain uninterrupted plant operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- BSc Engineering specialized in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing entity.
- Knowledge of PLC systems, automation, and industrial control systems will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and engineering-related software.
