BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE
Skycord Travels & Tours (Pvt) Limited is an IATA Accredited Travel Agency focusing on providing total travel solutions matched by high service standards to a very demanding segment of the market, whilst targeting to be one of the leading corporate travel management agencies in Sri Lanka. We deliver overall satisfaction to our travelers and clients and at the same time, fulfilling their requirements and needs with our dedicated staff and diversified service range including airline ticketing, visa, transport and hotels.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the company's client base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and individual clients.
- Promote travel packages and services to potential customers.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Negotiate contracts and close business deals to achieve sales targets.
- Maintain records of sales activities and client interactions.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and forecasts.
Experience and Qualifications
- Degree or Higher Diploma in Marketing or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in business development or sales.
- Experience in the travel and tourism sector will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic digital marketing knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and visits.
