Application Support Analyst
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-line support for business-critical applications
- Diagnose and resolve application-related issues while minimizing operational disruptions
- Assist end-users with application-related queries, guidance, and training
- Monitor application performance, availability, and security
- Maintain accurate documentation, support logs, and status reports
- Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and IT teams to resolve complex issues
- Support application upgrades, patches, testing, and deployments
- Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with relevant teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in application support or a similar role
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on high-quality support
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented environment
- Strong PR, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Self-motivated and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure
- Fluency in Tamil is mandatory
