We are currently seeking an energetic, dynamic, and motivated individual to join our Finance Department as an Assistant Accountant at our office located in Maharagama, Colombo.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively participating in the financial reporting function of the company.
- Handle correspondence with banks.
- Manage supplier payments.
- Manage day-to-day banking transactions and support in working capital management of the company.
- Assist in import/ export documentation & costing.
- Provide the details and reports to the management when necessary.
- Meet the given deadlines and be able to work independently.
- Preparing Tax Schedules & dealing with regulatory bodies.
- Liaise with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
Qualifications & Experience
- Completed a bachelor's degree in finance/ accounting or partly qualified professional qualification in CIMA/ CA/ ACCA.
- Minimum 3 years experience in the field of accounting and audit experience will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and experience in ODOO will be an added advantage.
- Good communication skills, coordination & PR skills.
- Age 28-35 years, male / female candidates only.
